I really can't believe I did it!

I wore a dress shirt that I bought from Eddie Bauer last weekend with a pair of dress pants from Lane Bryant, and while getting dressed, I realized the shirt would absolutely look best tucked into my pants. I hesitated because I always hated tucking things in; I was always so self conscious about it. But, I did it, and it looked good! One of my co-workers said, "you're looking so good, Jenn" when I walked in and took off my coat. So, it gave me a little confidence for the day. Yeah!

Oh, and Jenn, I'm not ignoring your request for before and after pictures. When my husband left so did the digital camera as that was my wedding present to him, and while there are 3 digital cameras at work that I could use, I don't feel comfortable asking someone from work to take pictures of me.

Jenn,
Ok, ok...I'll just be patient :) Not my strong suit unfortunately. Can you borrow a co-worker's camera for a night and have a friend snap some photos? Just an idea. I think it's amazing how much better you can see your progress in photos. It could be just me though :)

Congrats on the Eddie Bauer clothes fitting - I'm still bitter!! Tucking in a shirt is in my mind a cardinal sin - I am anxious to know what that will be like! Keep up the good work sweetie! I know it's tough with relationship stuff (believe me, I am soooo there).

All right, Jessica, you've lost me, NSV? Am I really that old?

Good job Jenn. Can't wait till I can tuck in my blouse. I am having serious issues right now with my big clothes. I having hard time letting them go.

i love compliments like that. unsought. just random little pick me ups.

i went shopping today and i'm having clothing issues myself. 22/24 is definitely too large. 18/20 is okay, sometimes small, sometimes too large. I just don't get it.

NSV is a "Non-Scale Victory" used in Weight Watchers support groups alot. Sorry, I thought everyone knew this acronym.

Ah, the joys of new clothing discoveries. Tucking in a shirt is a biggie. I can't imagine ever being there, but it is a good vista in the fashion horizon. Great entries--I've been enjoying your blog.

Ahhh, thanks for the explanation, Jessica. When I did Weight Watchers years ago, I didn't attend meetings, so that wasn't one that was familiar to me.
